Biography
Valentin Svidersky from 1925 to 1932 studied at the Leningrad State Conservatory . He worked at the Leningrad Theater of Musical Comedy from January 1, 1931 (then the Theater of Musical Comedy of the Gornardom) to October 1, 1964 [2] . Stage role - “ simpleton ” [3] . At the end of his life, the actor played cascading roles.
In his best years he was a real idol of the public. Despite his good vocal school, his soft baritone nevertheless early lost the sonority necessary for heroic parties. Best of all, he was given the role of simpletons with his characteristic acting personality, good appearance, stage charm, musicality, and gaiety. At the same time, Valentin mastered the art of dance and was able to even put his gesture or step into music even outside the dance.
During the siege of Leningrad, he continued to work on the stage of the Musical Comedy Theater [4] [5] .
Theatrical work
- 1934 - “ Ice House ” ( K. Listov ) - Itching (it was in this role that he advanced on stage; criticism, speaking of the failure of the performance as a whole, noted the success of the comic couple Gruni (Boldyrev) and Zuda).
- 1937 - “ Daughter of the tambourmajeur ” ( J. Offenbach ) - Robber (this role deservedly brought him real vocal success; in this production he was the only one who, according to critics, fully met the requirements for vocals).
- 1938 - The Hundredth Tiger ( B. Aleksandrov ) - border guard Alexei.
- 1940 - “ Bayadera ” ( I. Kalman ) - Napoleon.
- 1942 - “ The sea spreads wide ” - Zhora (charming joker, crew member of the boat "Eaglet"). His number about Odessa was invariably bead.
- 1942 - The Bat ( I. Strauss ) - Falk (in his performance Falk was very "Viennese").
- 1944 - " Violet of Montmartre " (I. Kalman) - Florimon.
- 1945 - “A Beggar Student ” ( C. Millaker ).
- 1945 - “ Lilac-bird cherry ” ( V. Zhelobinsky ).
- 1945 - " Girl's commotion " ( Y. Milyutin ) - Bessomyka buffoon.
- 1947 - “ Eleven Unknowns ” ( N. Bogoslovsky ) - Alexei Komarov, captain of the Soviet football team.
- 1947 - The Windrose ( B. Mokrousov ) - sailor Plato Pososhkov.
- 1948 - “ Free Wind ” ( I. Dunaevsky ) - Mickey (here he managed to show the movement of the image: a guy from the people falls into a class alien environment, but in time he finds his true place).
