Family

Parents - Leon Solomonovich (Leibish Shliomovich; 1886 - 1974 ) and Judith Ovseevna (? - 1953 ) Vysotsky. [4] Leon Solomonovich Vysotsky, a chemical engineer by training, is the founder of the Kiev plant "Himefir" on Kurenevka , where he organized the production of esters ; Among other things, he was engaged in the development of synthetic fragrances for the cosmetics industry and solutions for coating shoe leather, the inventor of film glue for gluing tapes during film editing and film tearing, and the creator of the ice- cream formulation. His younger brother - Wolf Shliomovich (later Vladimir Semenovich) Vysotsky ( 1889 - 1962 ) - was the father of writer Alexei Vladimirovich Vysotsky ( 1919 - 1977 ) and the grandfather of the poet, actor and songwriter Vladimir Semenovich Vysotsky ( 1938 - 1980 ). Lyudmila Yaremenko is also a cousin to the silver medalist in the 1970 World Championships in rowing in St. Catherins ( Canada ) in eight Alexander Alekseevich Vysotsky and children's writer Irena Alekseevna Vysotskaya .

Sports Biography

After graduating from high school in 1947, she took up basketball in the Dynamo sports society with the honored trainer of the USSR Mirkiyan Egorov , and studied at the road technical school. As part of the Dynamo team (Kiev), she won the gold medal at the 1949 USSR Championship . Twice became the owner of the USSR Cup (1950 and 1951), in 1949 - the winner.

She played for the national team of Ukraine at the First Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR in 1956 .

After graduating from the Kiev Institute of Physical Culture, she played handball and from 1961 to 1998 worked as a basketball coach.
