Geography
The city of Kudugu is located in the central part of Burkina Faso, 75 kilometers west of the country's capital, Ouagadougou . It is the main city of the West-Central region and the province of Bulkimde . Administratively, the city is divided into 10 sectors. The current mayor is Nusele Kafango. In 2005, a university was opened here.

Economics and Transport
The basis of the Kudugu economy is agriculture. The city also has small enterprises in the textile, cotton processing and food industries. A railroad runs through the city, connecting Abidjan and Ouagadougou. In addition, roads No. 13, No. 14 and No. 21 pass through Kuduga. Ouagadougou International Airport is located 41 km southeast of the center of Kudugu; It takes regular flights from many major cities in West Africa, as well as from Paris and Brussels .
Population
According to 2013 data, the population of the city was 93,165 people [2] . The urban community totals 131,825 people (as of 2006 ) and is populated mainly by representatives of the peoples of the Grusi and Mosi [3] .
