History
The toponym of Raskuhi is derived from unchain [1] .
The settlement was founded in 1720 as a fortress to ensure the safety of the road from Polevsky Zavod to Uktus [1] . Together with other Russian settlements on the Chusovaya River. The first documentary record dates back to 1793 [2] . The confessional painting lists the families of the following people: Fyodor Asanov, Avdei Karmanov, Ivan Krasnogorov and Kondraty Shalaumov. In 1807, there were 7 courtyards in the village, and in 1904 there were 60 courtyards and a forge in the village. The first settlers were alien tramps who settled at the beginning on the left bank of the Chusovaya River, but in 1774, avoiding ruin from the invasion of E. Pugachev, they moved to the right bank. Residents were engaged in mining of gold and ore, arable farming [3] .
In Soviet times, the hunting base of the Urals Military District was located in the village, in particular, Marshal G.K. Zhukov was there all the time . There was a plan to create a museum in the village of G. K. Zhukov, but the decision to create it, adopted by the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk region, was not implemented.
The village, as well as the nearby village of Marmara, is repeatedly mentioned in the books of Pavel Petrovich Bazhov , in particular in his stories.
In the 1950s, artist Vasily Dyachkov worked in Raskuhiha. Here he painted the picture “In the open spaces of the Urals”. Memories of the artist’s meetings with G. K. Zhukov [4] have been published.
From 1953 to 1985 a writer S.N. Samsonov lived in the village, in 2015 a memorial plaque was installed on the house where he lived.
Nicholas Church
In 1896, a wooden warm chapel was built, which was consecrated in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Archbishop of Mirlikiya, in memory of the deliverance of the Sovereign Heir Nikolai Aleksandrovich from the danger threatening him in Japan [3] . The chapel was assigned to the church of the village of Marmara . After 1915, the chapel was rebuilt into a wooden monastery of the monastery. The church was closed in 1935 [1] . In May 2006, the one-church monastery, a wooden church, was restored and services were held there [5] .
