The Iset River flows through the lake. Nutrition occurs due to the waters of local surface runoff. The coast is partially swampy. In winter, the lake freezes through, the fish descends from it to the Verkh-Isetsky pond , and in summer it comes back.
In the lake there are: pike , perch , mackerel , bream , crucian carp , pike perch , minnow .
