An eight-point cryptogloss ( Latin: Cryptocephalus octopunctatus ) is a species of leaf beetles ( Chrysomelidae ) from the subfamily of cryptogods ( Cryptocephalinae ). Distributed from Central and Eastern Europe west to France , east to Ukraine , south to northern Italy .
