Career
Adolfo Baloncheri is a graduate of the Alessandria club. Since 1919, he began to play for the main team in the center of midfield along with Carlo Carcano . His first game for the club was a guest match with Novara on October 12, 1919, in which Alessandria won 1-0 [4] .
In 1925, he left the ranks of Alessandria and moved to Torino , which paid 70 thousand lire for the player’s transfer [5] . With the Turin club, he achieved the greatest success in his career, winning two Italian championships , one of which was canceled. In Torino, Bolancheri, along with Julio Libonatti and Gino Rossetti, attacked three teams, nicknamed the “Wonderful Trio” for three of them scoring 117 goals in 33 matches in the 1928/1929 season. He completed his career Baloncheri in the club " Komense " in 1933 .
As part of the Italian national team, Baloncheri made his debut on May 13, 1920 with the Dutch national team , which ended in a draw 1: 1 [6] .
