Chrysolina chalcites

Chrysolina chalcites (lat.) - a species of beetles of the subfamily chrysomelina ( Chrysomelinae ) from the family of leaf beetles ( Chrysomelidae ). Distributed in southeastern Europe ( Apulia , the Balkan Peninsula , the catchment of the Danube River , southern Ukraine , southern Russia ), the Caucasus , Asia Minor , the Middle East , Central Asia [3] [4] and Egypt [5] . Beetles are found on salt marshes [6] .

The body length of beetles is 5.5–7 mm [7] . Beetles olive green or bronze, shagreen, have a low sheen. Antennae and legs reddish-brown; base of antennae yellowish. The upper side of the body of the beetle, except for the rows of elytra , is at subtle and very rare points [6] .
