San Marino took part in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow ( USSR ), but did not win a single medal. Partially joining the boycott of the Moscow Olympics declared by the United States , the San Marino team did not appear under the national flag, but under the Olympic flag. Only 16 athletes participated in five sports: athletics, weightlifting, cycling, shooting, judo [1] .
