Content

History

The village arose as a settlement of convicts at the shipyard, opened here at the end of 1931. In August 1933, the shipyard was transferred to the Izhma River.

On June 15, 1976, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, by its Decree, assigned the settlement of Shudayag to the category of workers' settlements.
