Angela Kay Kepler (born 1943 ) is a New Zealand naturalist and author. Graduated from the University of Canterbury , New Zealand. Received a doctorate from the University of Hawaii . She received her Ph.D. from Cornell University of New York.
Angela Kepler conducted research in Hawaii, Alaska, Russia and the Caribbean. 2 species of birds are named after her: a small forest songwriter ( Dendroica angelae ) is the endemic of Puerto Rico , in the opening of which she participated and the extinct Hawaiian carriage ( Porzana keplerorum ).
