In the village (Vending station) ends a branch of the Northern Railway . There are no passenger transportations on the “Salvogozh-Vendinga” branch. Vending is planned to be a station of the Belkomur project.

Content

Geography

Located 50 km (along the roads) to the west of the district center - the village of Koslan and south of the village of Vending and the village of Solnechny . The settlement is located between the Vashka River and its tributary - the Wiena River (on the left bank of this river).

History

Founded in February 1968 . At the end of the year in the village there were 70 people. January 30, 1970 - the official date of commencement of construction of the village Blagoevo. On November 19, 1970, the village was officially registered as a new one and included in the Ust-Vachurgsky Village Council (later transferred to the Usogorsk Village Council). Initially, in the village there were a lot of Bulgarians who were engaged in felling the forest, as well as the construction of the village itself.

By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of February 8, 1971, the newly formed village was given the name Blagoevo - in memory of the prominent political figure of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria, D. Blagojeva [2] .

Since December 2, 1975, Blagoevo is a urban-type settlement.
