History
A sports club in Komarno has existed since 1896 [1] , although the idea to create a single football club appeared only after 4 years. “Komarsky Football Club Komarno” was founded on April 29, 1900 [1] . It was one of the first rural football clubs in Upper Hungary. Komarno played its first match on July 29, 1900 against Kishtenten from Budapest , losing 0-0 to him [1] . The match was attended by more than 3,000 people [1] .
In 1904, the first match of the Komarno youth team was held. Due to the constant transfer of borders and two world wars, Komarno never went to the top divisions. But the Komarno youth team and its football school became very famous, as the rest of the Slovak and Hungarian clubs invested little in the football school and the youth squad [1] . Currently, the focus is on maintaining a team of talented young people. The club is trying to protect them from smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction.
The main colors of the team are purple and white [2] .
