Nikolai Afanasyevich Lebedev ( 1813 - July 31, 1896 , St. Petersburg ) - Russian writer, journalist, editor of the newspaper Producer and Industrialist. The author of numerous essays, articles and stories. In the 40s of the XIX century, he collaborated with the publications "Illustrations" and "Literary Newspaper."

Nikolai Afanasevich studied at the Military Teaching Institute of the 1st district of military settlements , and then, serving in the Fifth Department of His Imperial Majesty’s Chancellery , in 1859 received the title of teacher of the Russian language [1] .
