Geography
The Pyashinsky village council is located in the northeastern part of the Bekovsky region and borders on the north and east on the Serdobsky district of the Penza region, on the south - on the Moshkovsky village council of the Bekovsky region and Serdobsky district of the Penza region, on the west - on the Ivanovo and Yakovlevsky village councils of the Bekovsky region. The distance to the administrative center of the district of Bekovo is 34 km. On the territory of the Pyashinsky Village Council, the rivers Pyasha and Malaya Pyasha flow. The total area of the village council is 11696.3 ha.

Infrastructure
On the territory of the Pyashinsky Village Council there are: 4 shops, a village club, a library, a gym [14] , a post office (in the village of Pyasha) [15] , a secondary school (in the village of Pokrovka) [16] , a medical clinic (in the village of Pokrovka) [ 17] , a branch of Sberbank of Russia (in the village of Pokrovka) [18] .
All settlements of the village council have network gasification, the villages of Pyasha and Pokrovka have centralized water supply [19] .
A highway with an asphalt pavement 7.75 km long runs along the territory of the Pyashinsky Village Council, adjacent to the Tambov -Penza-Bekovo highway and providing transport links with settlements and districts of the Penza region. 3.8 km long road with crushed stone paved to Anichkino village [19] .
