The Karabuurinsky State Reserve is a specially protected natural territory of Kyrgyzstan , formed in 2005 , which is located in the Kara-Buurinsky district of the Talas region . It was organized by the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 17, 2005 No. 233 with the aim of preserving the unique mid -mountain savannoids, alpine and subalpine meadows and biological diversity of the Western Tien Shan , protecting rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, expanding the network of specially protected natural territories.
