Vednoye (Tver Oblast)

Vednoye - a village in Rameshkovsky district of the Tver region. According to the 2002 census, the population is 425 inhabitants. The administrative center of the rural settlement of Vednoye , founded in 2005.

It is located 32 kilometers south of the regional center of Rameshka (33 km from Tver ), on the Kushalino - Goritsy - Kashin highway, on the right bank of the Kushalka River.

In the village there is a post office, the House of Culture, a library, a kindergarten, a feldsher-midwife station, several shops. The school burned down in 2010 [1] .

For the first time, the village of Vednoe is mentioned in the scribe book of Pyotr Matveyevich Svechin, Timofey Alexandrovich Kozin and clerk Bogdan Zabrodov of the possessions of the Grand Duke Simeon Bekbulatovich in the Tver district of 1580 (RGADA fund 1209 inventory 1 book 16056 sheet 289 original) in the village of Keszczewi Järsten from the village of Yushtenski : “(Drv) Vednoe on the river on Kushalka, (c) Senko Kostyantinov half-wipe, (c) Mitya Stepanov half-wipe, (c) Osipko Olekseyev half-wipe, arable land is three tithing with a third in the field, and the fallow lands of the arable land be tithes, and by the two-train, hay stacks fifty, no forest. In the 19th century, Vednoe was one of the largest villages in the Tver province . It was part of the Pogoreltsevsky volost of the Korchevsky district . In 1887, there were 208 yards in 4 outskirts, 1279 people lived (606 men and 673 women). According to the 1920 census, Vednoye (recorded as Everyday) totaled 1326 inhabitants.

From 1935 to 1956, the Leading Center of the Village Council of the Kushalinsky District of the Kalinin Region .

In 1996, there were 203 farms in Vedny, 426 inhabitants.

Attractions

Embroidery , which has been practiced here for a long time, brought fame to the village of Vednoye. In almost every house there were hoops and trims (small round hoops), on which embroiderers created patterns on linen in the form of birds, flowers, frosty snowflakes.
