Until 2010, it was called Rudnya-Pochta ( Ukrainian: Rudnya-Poshta , through a hyphen). Clarified (renamed) by the decision of the Zhytomyr Regional Council of March 18, 2010 No. 1062 "On Amendments to the Administrative-Territorial Structure of the Zhytomyr Region" [1] . Verkhovna Rada clarification has not yet been approved.
