Content

Geography

Denishi is located 20 km west of Zhytomyr . The village is located on the rocky left bank of the Teterev , 3 km below the Bobrovka confluence. It covers an area of ​​1,324 km².

History

The village has been known since the 18th century; it was called Dunajec . Since 1903 it belonged to the Tereshchenko family, who in 1911 built a palace here.

In the years 1848-1901, an iron foundry worked in the village.

Population

The population for the 2001 census was 1,164 people.
