The nebula is variable . It is highlighted by the star of T Taurus . It is the object of Herbig - Aro [1] [2] . The nebula was discovered on October 11, 1852 by John Hynd .
NGC 1555. The image was taken at the 0.8-meter Schulman telescope at Mount Lemmon Observatory .
