It is found in Asia Minor , Iran and the South Caucasus .
It grows in dry places in the lower and middle zones of the mountains.
Plant 40–60 cm tall.
Stems from one to four, straight, branched upward, whitish-grayish.
Basal leaves are numerous, elliptical or rounded, white-shaped; stem - oblong, narrowed to base, finely toothed, petiolate . Apical (bracts) leaves resemble stem, but smaller, almost sessile, longer than false whorls.
The inflorescence is long, from 8-10- flowered false whorls , placed at the bottom, at the top close; calyx with tube 4.5–5.5 mm long, about five to ten unequal teeth, 2–2.5 cm long; corolla whitish-yellowish.
Species Shandra few-flowered enters into the genus Shandra ( Marrubium ) of the subfamily Yasnotkovye ( Nepetoideae ) of the family Yasnotkovye ( Lamiaceae ) of the order Yarotkotsvetnye ( Lamiales ).
