Biography
Professor of Leningrad State University ( 1920 - 1935 ), MITT ( 1939 - 1952 ) and other universities . Vladimir Lebedinsky was a specialist in chemical properties, synthesis and analysis of complex compounds, methods for the preparation, separation and purification of platinum group metals .
The works of V.V. Lebedinsky for the implementation of industrial technology for the extraction of precious metals from copper-nickel sludge were awarded the Stalin Prize in 1946 . In the same year he was elected a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, and a year later Lebedinsky was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR. From 1939 to 1950, he headed the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at the Moscow Order of the Red Banner of Labor at the Institute of Fine Chemical Technology. M.V. Lomonosov (MITT).
He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery in Moscow.
