Nissan Figaro - a car of the Japanese company Nissan with a coupe body type "n olucabriolet ". Figaro features a retro design reminiscent of the 1960s Datsun Fairlady . A car was produced in 1991 alone, for which 20,000 copies were produced. Figaro was sold only in Japan, but it was also popular in the UK and Ireland in the secondary market.

History
In the late 1980s, fashion for classic cars appeared in Japan. Figaro model was Nissan 's response to this trend and allowed many to become owners of cars with an unusual appearance, not having the ability to contain antique equipment.
Nissan Figaro debuted at the 1989 Tokyo International Auto Show. It was originally planned to release only 8,000 copies of the roadster, however, due to high demand, the total circulation was increased to 20,000 copies. The author of the appearance of a two-seater in a retro style is Shoji Takahashi.
Design
Figaro is built on the first-generation Nissan Micra platform. The only available engine is a 76-hp inline 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit. at 6000 rpm The power unit was paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission , also borrowed from the hatchback, which in the domestic Japanese market is called March.
