Uruguay’s second (professional) division is the second-highest division in the league system of the Uruguayan Football Championship held under the auspices of the Uruguayan Football Association . The two best teams according to the results of the season move to the Top Division (Example), the two worst go to the Second Amateur Division (de facto with the participation of semi-professional teams).
