Shlemnikovye [2] ( lat. Scutellarioideae ) is a subfamily of dicotyledonous plants of the family Lamiaceae .

Description
Perennial grasses and shrubs. The leaf position is alternate or opposite. Calyx five - lobed, covers the fruit after they ripen. A corolla zygomorphic tubular or cylindrical, often curved, consists of 4-5 petals , two of which form the lip. Androecium consists of four stamens, two of which can be shortened. Inflorescence tsimozny , sometimes single flowers. Bracts are available, but often reduced, sometimes they are absent. The fruit is schizokarpy [3] .

The subfamily combines five genera [3] [4] :
- Holmskioldia Retz.
- Renschia vatke
- Scutellaria L. - Shlemnik .
- Tinnea Kotschy ex Hook.f.
- Wenchengia CY Wu & S. Chow
Spread
The subfamily has an almost cosmopolitan area . Its representatives are absent only in South Africa [2] .
