Member of the Obninsk City Assembly of the fifth (2005-2010) and sixth (2010-2015) convocations. Chairman of the Football Federation of the city of Obninsk (since 2004).

Biography
A pupil of the Obninsk football school , a student of Yuri Alekseevich Shuvanov .
He began his career in 1987 in the second team of Dynamo Moscow , playing in the Second League of the USSR Championship, for which he spent 100 matches in four seasons. As part of the main team, he played one game for the Federation Cup in 1989.
Season 1991 spent in the first league for the Sukhumi Dynamo . The next year, he began his performances in the Ukrainian championship as a part of Bukovina Chernivtsi , in the middle of the season he moved to the Novorossiysk Chernomorets , for which he played until the end of his career in 1999.
On the eve of the 1998 season, Berezner received a foot injury in a sparring match in the village of Barannikovskaya . The consequences of the injury, the transfer from an attack to midfield, the associated reduction in the number of goals, the resignation of Oleg Dolmatov led to Berezner’s expulsion from the team with the phrase “for the decomposition of the team” at the end of the 1999 season.
After Chernomorets there were options for continuing careers in Amkar and Anji . Before the start of the 2000 season, he was close to signing a contract with CSKA , which coached Dolmatov, but the club management decided not to take him to the team, and Berezner decided to finish with football [2] .
In his own words, during his career he abused alcohol [3] .
While still a player, he owned three pharmacies with his father in Obninsk. After the end of his football career, he returned to his hometown, where he became chairman of the city Football Federation [4] and deputy of the Obninsk City Assembly on the budget, finance and tax committee [5] .
Achievements
In the list of 33 best players of the championship of Russia : 1997 (3rd place).
