The Lithuanian Soviet Republic is a Soviet state entity on the territory of Lithuania in 1919-1920. Formed on December 16, 1918 by the provisional revolutionary government headed by V. Mickyavichus-Kapsukas , on February 27, 1919, LSR merged with the SSRB in the Lithuanian-Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic (Litbel).
