Pharmacological action
Combined preparation for external use, the effect of which is due to the properties of its constituent components. Anticoagulant direct action. Gradually released from the ointment, heparin sodium reduces the inflammatory process and has an antithrombotic effect. Promotes resorption of existing ones and prevents the formation of new blood clots. It blocks the synthesis of thrombin, reduces platelet aggregation. It inhibits the activity of hyaluronidase , activates the fibrinolytic properties of blood. Nicotinic acid benzyl ester dilates the superficial vessels, promoting the absorption of heparin. The local anesthetic benzocaine reduces the severity of pain. When applied to the skin, it has a local analgesic effect.
Indications
Thrombophlebitis of superficial veins (prevention and treatment), post-injection and post-infusion phlebitis , external hemorrhoids , inflammation of the postpartum hemorrhoids, trophic ulcers of the lower leg, elephantiasis , superficial periphlebitis , lymphangitis , superficial mastitis , localized infiltrates and edema, trauma and muscle injury (including trauma and muscle injury (including , tendons, joints), subcutaneous hematoma .
Contraindications

Dosage and administration

The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected area (at the rate of 0.5-1 g per area with a diameter of 3-5 cm) and gently rubbed into the skin 2-3 times a day daily until the disappearance of inflammatory phenomena, on average from 3 to 7 days. The possibility of a longer course of treatment is determined by the doctor. Special instructions
It should not be applied to open wounds, in the presence of purulent processes. The use of ointment is not recommended for deep venous thrombosis. Use with extreme caution with increased vascular permeability.
Interaction
Do not prescribe topically simultaneously with NSAIDs , tetracyclines , antihistamines .
