WINE @ Etersoft is a software product based on the source code of the free Wine project, designed to run Windows-based applications on Linux operating systems and on FreeBSD [1] . Developed by the St. Petersburg company Etersoft . WINE @ Etersoft is focused on the work of such popular Russian business applications as 1C: Enterprise , ConsultantPlus , Guarantor , KOMPAS-3D , an electronic reporting system SBiS ++ [2] . Unlike ordinary Wine, it supports security keys and works in multi-user mode [3] .

WINE @ Etersoft is a commercial product, but there is a free assembly [4] . The WINE @ Etersoft Local version is free for private use. There is an educational license for the WINE @ Etersoft Network version, free of charge provided to educational institutions of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The product WINE @ Etersoft School is transferred free of charge to general educational institutions of Russia that received PShPO .
History
WINE @ Etersoft went on sale in 2006 [5] . Initially, the product was focused on the work of the most popular Russian business applications ( 1C: Enterprise , Consultant Plus , Guarantor , Code ). WINE @ Etersoft assemblies were released for operating systems such as ALT Linux , Fedora Core , Debian 3.1 , Mandriva , Slackware , SUSE, and FreeBSD .
In 2008, the WINE @ Etersoft software product won the CNews AWARDS Technology of the Year Award [6] .
In 2010, the WINE @ Etersoft School product was released, distributed free of charge among Russian schools and focused on launching educational applications on Linux [7] .
At the end of 2011, WINE @ Etersoft 2.0 was released, the main achievement of which was the support of CryptoPro CSP EDS certificates . [eight]
WINE @ Etersoft Versions
- WINE @ Etersoft Local allows you to work with Windows-based applications on the Linux platform within a single workplace. Collaboration with files and work with network resources is not supported [9]
- WINE @ Etersoft Network is designed to organize collaboration with applications and shared resources over the network [10]
- WINE @ Etersoft SQL , in addition to working with resources simultaneously, provides the ability to work with applications with SQL-servers and dbf files [11]
- WINE @ Etersoft CAD is a version of WINE @ Etersoft focused on working in Linux CAD systems . At the moment, KOMPAS-3D V10 system support is implemented. In the future, it is planned to ensure the operation of other versions of KOMPAS-3D and other popular CAD-systems ( AutoCAD , Plantracer, BricsCAD etc.) [12]
- WINE @ Etersoft School is focused on launching educational applications in Linux, first of all, 1C: Chronograph . [13] Replaced by a special educational license WINE @ Etersoft Network [14]
