Days of Belarusian and Swedish poetry is an annual literary and music festival that has traditionally been held in Pinsk since 2002 as part of the Days of Sweden in Belarus program [1] .
The event is organized by the Swedish Embassy in Belarus and the Pinsk City Executive Committee. The organization of events is supported by the Swedish Institute (Stockholm), as well as the State Council of Culture of Sweden together with Belarusian partners (City House of Culture, Polessky Drama Theater) [2] . As part of this event, literary readings, seminars, as well as the Youth Poetry Cup are held, in which young authors from Pinsk and the Brest Region up to 18 years old participate. Spending days is a significant contribution to the development of cultural relations between Sweden and Belarus . Representatives of the Swedish Embassy, the Swedish Institute as well as the Belarusian executive authorities are constantly present at the events [3] . Famous Swedish and Belarusian writers and musicians come to Pinsk every year. In particular, Swedish literature was presented over the years by reading the works of Inga-Lina Lundqvist, Michael Niemi, Peter Froberg Idling, Uline Stig, Claudia Marx, Maria Zenstrom and others. In 2009, Swedish music was presented by such famous performers as Anika Norlin from the group " Hello Saferide " and Andreas Matson. From the Belarusian side over the years, Rygor Borodulin , Vladimir Neklyaev , Valentin Akudovich , Yuri Gumenyuk, Lyudka Silnova, Valeria Kustova, Oleg Minkin, Ales Ryazanov , Eva Vezhnovets, Lyudmila Rublevskaya , Vladimir Orlov , Anatoly Vertinsky, Svetlana Ben and others read their works. Belarusian music was presented by Dmitry Voytyushkevich, Andrey Khadanovich , the Red Cat groups (under the direction of R. B. Gagua ) [4] and Saltorella.
