Biography
Member of the Civil War . Member of the RCP (b) in 1918-1921, 1936-1940 and since 1944. He worked in the Odessa Cheka , in the late 1920s under the leadership of D.N. Medvedev - assistant commissioner in the Kherson GPU .
In 1933-34 he investigated the case of arson on October 22, 1933, a workshop for the production of submarines of the "M" series at the plant named after Andre Marty .
In 1934 he worked in the Odessa regional department of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR, was arrested for ten days. He graduated from the Kharkov Institute of National Economy .
In July 1940, he was removed from the post of deputy head of the Special Department of the UNKVD in the Moscow Region and expelled from the party (reinstated in October 1944).
Member of World War II . Since June 20, 1942, he was in the task force of Colonel Medvedev , was thrown behind enemy lines (parachuting twice to the German rear - in 1942 and 1943), the head of intelligence intelligence of the Pobediteli detachment of the OMSBON NKVD of the USSR.
