Ortrun Zöfel-Enderlein ( German: Ortrun Zöphel-Enderlein , December 1, 1943 , Trynzig ) is an East German sleigh rider who competed in the 1960s. She won a gold medal at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , Austria .

At the next Winter Olympics in 1968 in Grenoble , in the total of three races she was the first in the overall standings, but was disqualified with Anna-Maria Muller , who was the second when it was discovered that they illegally heated their runners (which are used to guide sleigh on ice for maneuvers down the highway). Enderlein and Muller were deprived of their medals.
Enderlein also won 2 gold medals at the World Championships ( 1965 and 1967 ).
After finishing her career, she worked in the Olympic Committee of the GDR (1969-1990).
