Ecology and habitats
Adult beetles feed on pollen from various plants, namely, butene ( Chaerophyllum ), many species of aster (Asteraceae) (for example, hawk ( Hieracium ), pasnick ( Hypochaeris ), culpa ( Leontodon ), Pilosella officinarum ), sunflowers ( Helianthemum ), and tuberria Tuberaria guttata ), multifolia ulcer ( Anthyllis vulneraria ), blood-red geranium ( Geranium sanguineum ), buttercup ( Ranunculus ), feminine rosehips ( Rosa pimpinellifolia ) and many species of herbaceous plants.
