The administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Esipovo , is located 10 km from Ternovka  .
The territory of the rural settlement with an area of 8844 hectares is bordered by Ternovsky and Rusanovsky rural settlements of the district, as well as the Tambov region . The river Shinkost flows (a tributary of the Savala )  .
Esipovsky Village Council was formed on March 9, 1964. The Law of Voronezh Region No. 63-03 of October 15, 2004, the Esipov Village Council was granted the status of a rural settlement  .
