Old Keny - a village in the Zavyalovsky district of Udmurtia , part of the Kamenskoye rural settlement . Located 17 km south of the center of Izhevsk . Through the village flows the river Old Kenka , the left tributary of the Izha .

Content
History
The village of Ken is mentioned in the Landratska census of 1716, where it belongs to the hundred Pronki Yanmurzin Arsk Daragi .
Before the revolution, the village was part of the Sarapul district of the Vyatka province . According to the tenth revision in 1859, 261 people lived in 34 yards of the state-owned village Ken at the key of Shatura and the mill was working [1] .
With the formation of Votsk , the Old Kenes became the center of the Starokensky Village Council of the Zavyalovsky volost, and later - of the Izhevsk district . In 1936, the Staroken village council was transferred to the newly formed Zavialovsky district . In 1970, the Staroken village council was transformed into Kamensky with the transfer of the center from Old Ken to Kamennoye [2] .
