History
“According to some sources, the village of Alyoshkovo is the birthplace of the legendary hero Alyosha Popovich .” [2]
It was part of the Zverintsevo volost of the Rostov district of the Yaroslavl province .
In 1881, a village school was opened in Alyoshkov.
Temples
In the village there is a church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary built in 1807, a five-domed stone with the same bell tower, built at the expense of parishioners.
Previously, there were two wooden churches in the village, which were abolished in 1790 due to dilapidation, and instead of them a stone church was built with two chapels: the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos and in the name of Archangel Michael and all ethereal forces. The parish was closed in 1937, the premises were used as a warehouse.
To the arrival of the church with. Alyoshkovo in 1908 belonged to the village itself and the villages of Churilovo, Selishche , Novosyolki, Fedorovskoye, Vlaskovo. The parish totaled 952 parishioners [3] .
