Biography

Alexander Mishchuk spent all his childhood at Dynamo school, and when he graduated, he was taken to the double. He constantly played in the backup and farm clubs of Dynamo Moscow , but he never went out for the first team, he was always a substitute. In total, from 1993 to 1999 he spent 214 matches. In 1999, he wanted to move with his wife to Finland, since she had Finnish citizenship and categorically did not want to stay in Russia. He began to look for options in Finland and signed a preliminary contract with Jokerit , but when he came to the team, there was already another coach, who was from the Netherlands , with whom Mishchuk did not immediately have a relationship. After that, Mishchuk packed his things and returned to Russia, where he spent six months playing for Kuban until the summer of 2001. In the summer of 2001, after a conversation with Dolmatov, by mutual agreement, the contract with the club was terminated. Then he returned to Finland, but to another club - Atlantis , with which he immediately won the Cup of the country . After the season, Mishchuk decided to stay and signed a contract for two seasons. Two years later, he went to the north of the country - to TP-47 . But at the end of the season, the manager of the club, who was Russian, but had lived in Finland for many years, began to make claims that the players were losing matches. Moreover, he only blamed Russian players for passing the games and dispersed half the teams, and first of all, all Russian-speaking players. In total for 3 seasons from 2001 to 2004 he spent 68 matches in the championship of Finland [2] . Mishchuk again returned to his homeland and left for Anji . He played a little in the club, as the coach trusted Sergey Ryzhikov more . In the winter he returned to Finland, to Atlantis in the First League .

In 2012, he played for the club of the fourth Finnish division , since 2013 - coach in the club of the third division [3] .

Contract Scandal

Scandal

In the second round of the 2006 championship, Atlantis met with TP-47, the former Mishchuk team. Upon arrival at the match, Mishchuk noticed that he was not included in the application for the match. The match ended with the score 0: 2 in favor of TP-47. In the second round, Atlantis met with TP-47 at home. In anticipation of the game, Mishchuk experienced a serious injury - a rupture of his back discs - which he received in 2003, and before the game, the goalkeeper warned the coach about it. After the game, Mishchuk went to the doctor, who confirmed the severity of the damage. The season ended with a back injury that periodically made itself felt.

Rops Game

On September 24, 2006, a match was held between the ROPS and Atlantis. The first goal in the match, “Atlantis” scored before the break, after a penalty. According to Mishchuk, the stadium was very cold, his back ached, so I had to take two pills during the break. Atlantis players missed the second ball in the 50th minute. After that, Mishchuk was replaced. The match ended with the score 2: 2.

Scandal and legal investigation

On the plane on the way back, Mishchuk was informed that there will be training tomorrow. Under a distribution agreement with one English company, he went to Russia to sell goalkeeper gloves. On Monday, Mishchuk informed via SMS to the club goalkeeper coach that he would be absent for three days, and he agreed to leave. After leaving for Moscow, the next day, his wife called Mishchuk and said that he was accused of a match and that because of this he “fled” from the country. On Thursday, upon the return of Mishchuk to Finland, the media began to claim that 300 thousand bet on RoPS was bet on Betfair , the bet would be valid only if the amount of money betting on the victory of the opposing team was the same 300 thousand. But no one put such money on Atlantis. That Monday, after playing with RoPS, Mishchuk went to the bank and put on the card 1,500, which a football player was accused of receiving from a match to pay utility bills in Moscow. In December 2007, a Helsinki court sentenced Mishchuk to two years of suspended sentences, disqualification for 19 months and payment of a fine of five and a half thousand euros for the sale of RoPS - Atlantis. Legal services cost him 2,400 € . This scandal broke Mishchuk’s career: from the beginning of the new season he had to replenish the ranks of the players of Petrotrest from St. Petersburg .
