Lukhovka is an urban-type settlement in Mordovia , in the Saransk urban district. It is the center of the village administration, which also includes the villages of Kulikovka and Makarovka [1] .

Geography
The settlement extends in the direction from the north-west to the south-east, between the Tavla River (Lukhovka is located along the left bank) and the Saransk-Kochkurovo highway. Makarovka is located north of the village, Kulikovka - south. The main street, Lukhovka, Krasnaya, is adjacent to Volgogradskaya Street, Saransk, in the area of the Posop railway platform.
