On January 1, 2006, in accordance with Federal Law No. 131 “On the General Principles of the Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation”, the villages of Ida and Kordon formed the Idskoye rural settlement of Babushkinsky District [4] , and Gremyachy and Karitsa entered the Tolshmensky rural settlement of the Totemsky District [5] . At the same time, there were no changes in the administrative-territorial division of the Gryazovetsky, Babushkinsky and Totemsky districts.

By the law of the Vologda Oblast dated June 1, 2015 No. 3667-OZ, the Idskoye rural settlement, the Minkovskoye rural settlement and the Yurkinskoye rural settlement were merged into the Minkovskoye rural settlement with the administrative center in the village of Minkovo [6] .
