Scientific Activities
Professional interests were concentrated in the field of pedagogy , pedagogy of higher school and higher pedagogical education, history of pedagogy, didactics, theory of pedagogy and pedagogical technology, higher pedagogical education.
He developed the concept of problem-modular training, the technology of didactic games in the system of training specialists. He offered a scientific and methodological substantiation of the organization of students' independent work in the conditions of intensification of education.
Author and scientific editor of teaching materials for students of pedagogical institutes, universities, pedcollegey. Textbook ed. P. I. Pidkasistogo "Pedagogy" endured several editions.
He has published many scientific and methodological works, including monographs, educational and teaching aids, articles in the journals "Pedagogy", etc.
Member of the Bureau of the Department of Philosophy of Education and Theoretical Pedagogy of the Russian Academy of Education.
