History
It arose in the late 1870s and was named Nikolaevskaya, in honor of Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaevich the Elder . Since 1960, Nikolayevskaya Street was part of Ozerkovaya Street, in July 1972 it was renamed Blanc-Menil, in honor of the French town of Le Blanc-Mesnil (a suburb of Paris, Peterhof twin). In 1995, it was renamed Menil'skaya Street. On some buildings, tablets with the same name have been preserved. On August 1, 1996, the name Blanc-Menil’s was returned.
