Word of Mouf is Ludacris ' second album , released in 2001 . Def Jam decided to release the album ahead of schedule, when pirated copies of the album's songs leaked to the Internet. For the first week of sales, the album sold over 281,000 copies, which gave it 3rd place in the Billboard 200 rating [1] . This album is the best-selling in the United States, and since the start of sales as of July 2009, over 3,616,000 copies have been sold. [2]
