History

  • The plant was founded on September 25, 1948, by decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR .
  • 1950 - 1951 - The beginning of pilot production and the release of the first batch of uranium products of the plant.
  • 1960s - Launch of lithium production to process raw materials into pure lithium and its salts .
  • 1970s - Launch of the production of fuel elements and fuel assemblies for research reactors .
  • In January 1971, the plant was awarded the Order of Lenin for the successful completion of the tasks of the eighth five-year plan and the organization of production of new equipment by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
  • 1980 - the beginning of the production of fuel elements and fuel assemblies for high power power reactors cooled by water under pressure.
  • 1996 - joining the TVEL Corporation.
