Content

Geography

The rural settlement is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the right bank of the Voronezh River . In the north, the territory of the municipality borders on the Lipetsk region ; in the east with the Stupino rural settlement ; in the south - with the Berezovsky rural settlement ; in the west - with the Komsomolsky rural settlement . The territory is located within the Voronezh crystalline massif, which is part of the East European platform. Devonian deposits overlain on the eroded surface of the crystalline basement, overlain by the Cretaceous system, as well as by Paleogene, Neogene, and Quaternary formations.

The complex of cover sediments is represented by loesslike loams and sandy loams and, to a lesser extent, sands. The territory is characterized by fairly uniform meteorological conditions.

According to the “Territorial Fund for Information on Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources in the Central Federal District”, there are no mineral deposits in the settlement.

The Voronezh River flows through the settlement. There are several ponds and streams. On the territory of the Karachun rural settlement is located the Voronezh Reserve, forestry VGLTA. [four]

  • Glushitsy village
  • Pekshevo village,
  • Pisarevka village,
  • Sennoye village
  • Sitnaya village.

Economics

The main economic component of the development of the rural settlement is retail trade (7 outlets). The only sector of the economy of the Karachun rural settlement is agriculture. The economic base is enterprises, organizations and institutions for the following types of economic activity:

  • wholesale and retail trade;
  • transport and communication;

There are no comprehensive schools, pre-school children's institutions, and children's out-of-school institutions on the territory of the settlement. [6]

On the territory of the settlement in the village of Karachun and the village of Glushitsy, there are leisure centers with a total capacity of 250 people, as well as two libraries with book depositories for 6.09 thousand volumes in the village of Karachun and 3.97 thousand volumes in the village of Glushitsa.
