The movable horned dung beetle [1] ( Latin: Bolboceras armiger ) is a beetle of the family of dung dugouts ( Geotrupidae ).

Description
Body length 7-10 mm. Coloring from brown-yellow to black; sometimes pronotum and elytra colored with different intensities; Keels along the lateral edges of the pronotum in males are turned into horns.
Adults , like fungifagus larvae, feed on mushrooms; larvae develop in underground fungi species. One-year generation. Adult beetles are active in summer; fly at dusk.
Ecology and habitat
Widely distributed in Europe, in the extreme east of the range reaches the floodplain of the Ural River, where the species is extremely rare. Mesophilic appearance and avoids steppe landscapes. It lives in meadows and forest glades.
