Henschel Hs 132 ( German: Henschel Hs 132 ) is a German jet dive bomber and interceptor from the end of World War II . The development of the aircraft was conducted in 1944-1945 by the company Henschel . Flight tests were scheduled for the summer of 1945. Three incomplete prototypes were built , flight tests were not carried out.

Aircraft Design
Henschel Hs 132 - a monoplane of a normal aerodynamic design with two keel plumage. A distinctive feature of the aircraft was the location of the engine - at the top of the fuselage.
Unusual was the location of the pilot in the cockpit - he was lying on his stomach. In this position, studies have shown that the pilot was easier to bear significant overloads when the aircraft was pulled out of the peak during bombing (up to 12 G , the design of the aircraft was calculated for such overload). This, in turn, made it possible to achieve high dive speeds and reduce the vulnerability of the aircraft to fire from ground-based air defense systems. However, tests of the captured machine showed the fallacy of such assumptions. Also, the low gas-dynamic stability of the then turbojet engines at large diving angles would lead to a breakdown in their operation.
