Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute in 1969 . In 1969-1971 , he served in the Strategic Missile Forces of the USSR , military rank lieutenant . Since 1971, he has been working at the Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering in various positions from engineer to general designer and director of the institute (in 1997 - 2009 ). He participated in the development of missile systems RSD-10 "Pioneer" , RT-2PM "Topol" , RT-2PM2 "Topol-M" . Head of development of the R-30 Bulava missile system.
Doctor of technical sciences, professor. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences since May 26, 2000 , academician since May 25, 2006 , Department of Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics and Control Processes of the Russian Academy of Sciences (mechanical engineering). Head of the Department of "Information Protection" MSTU. N.E. Bauman . Honored Inventor of the RSFSR . Full member and member of the Bureau of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Engineering [1] , member of the International Academy of Engineering . Member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party.
Member of the Council on Science and Education under the President of the Russian Federation (since 2017).
The author of poetry collections “What happened, it will be”, “Only those we choose as leaders ...” (2017) [2] [3] and “Russia cannot be brought to our knees” (2019) [4] .
