Moblin

Moblin (short for Mobile Linux ) is a specialized Linux distribution designed to run on ultraportable devices equipped with an Intel Atom processor . The Moblin project was initiated by Intel in 2007 and later transferred to the Linux Foundation , transformed into a MeeGo project, in which Intel engineers actively participated [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] .

As the basis for the graphical user interface, Moblin developers used the groundwork of the GNOME Mobile project, adapting them for small screens of netbooks . The graphical interface is designed for netbooks with a screen diagonal from 7 to 12 inches and is based on the Clutter library, actively uses the resources of the video card.
