Kim Nam Il [1] ( cor. 김남일 ? , ? ; March 14, 1977 , Inchon ) is a South Korean footballer and midfielder of the Japanese club Kyoto Sanga . Ex- captain of the national team , a member of three world championships .

Career
Club
He started playing football in the third grade of school. He started his adult career at the age of 23 in the club “ Jonnam Dragons ”, acting in the championship of South Korea .
After the 2002 World Cup, he tried his hand at the Netherlands Championship by renting an Excelsior , but in Europe his performances were not as successful as in his homeland.
In 2005, as a result of an exchange for two players, he joined the club " Suwon Bluewings ".
In 2008, he moved to Vissel Kobe Japanese Club, where he quickly became entrenched in the first team.
In December 2009, Kim Nam Il signed a contract with the Tomsk club " Tom " under the "1 + 1" scheme [2] . In Tom, he immediately became one of the team leaders, confidently taking his place in the first team. On July 5, 2010, he decided to use a clause in the contract that allows him to move to another club if compensation of 500 million South Korean won is paid for it and transferred to the Saudi club Al-Shabab [3] , but on July 20, 2010 he returned to “ Tom ”and extended the contract until the end of 2011 [4] . In the season of 2010 in the championship of Russia he played 24 matches for Tom, in which he was twice removed from the field.
On November 16, 2011, he broke the contract with the club and left Tom. [5] In his second season in Tomsk, the footballer played 17 matches for Tom.
In the national team
Kim Nam Il made his debut in the national team in 1998 .
Well proved to be at the "home" for the Koreans World Cup 2002 , where his team led by Guus Hiddink took 4th place.
In 2006, he took part in the second world championship for himself, where the Korean team failed to leave the group. In the same year he became captain of the national team, having received a bandage from goalkeeper of the national team Lee Un Jae .
In 2010, for the third time got into the application of his team for the world championship . June 12, became the first player of the Russian Premier League , who played at this world championship, coming on as a substitute in the match against Greece [6] . He also played in group stage matches against teams from Argentina and Nigeria . In a match with Nigerians, he made a mistake by earning a penalty, realized by Yakub Ayegbeni , thus almost depriving his team of the exit from the group.
