Story
Tom lays a path out of Jerry's mink cheese. The cat catches a mouse and makes a sandwich with Jerry. Only Tom is going to eat a sandwich; he is snatched up by a red-brown eagle flying at full speed (more precisely, apparently, a white-tailed eagle ). Tom breaks his teeth. The eagle lands on a tree and tries to eat Jerry, but Tom changes the sandwich plate. The eagle beats Tom in a rage, and sends it down on the second attempt. Tom lands near the dryer, and from there a skirt, feathers and clothespins fall on the cat. This gives Tom an idea.
The eagle is about to eat Jerry again. When the mouse finally runs away from the eagle, we hear a whistle and the camera turns to Tom in a bird costume with lipstick and a kazoo pulled over his nose. Tom whistles and invites the eagle to the pipe. The eagle is very excited, even Jerry cannot believe it. Tom winks at the eagle and he tries to kiss him. The cat in every possible way dodges this, as a result of which the eagle shakes the pipe twice, and Jerry tries to open Tom, but to no avail, and in the end Tom catches the mouse.
Tom leaves the eagle in love, but he finds it. Tom even loses Jerry during the escape. Tom decides to get Jerry another way. He makes a hastily painted booth "Kiss for the Mouse" and invites the eagle there. The eagle gives the cat Jerry, and Tom sucks the eagle's face with a plunger . But, Jerry runs away again. The eagle becomes even more excited, thinking that he was kissed. Tom runs after Jerry, but again runs into an eagle. He gives the cat two fists and offers to choose one. Tom picks, and the eagle hands the cat a gift box with Jerry. Tom takes Jerry, whose tail is tied in a ring and puts it on (proposal for marriage). Tom “agrees” by hitting the eagle with the shutters and runs away, but also crashes into the shutter and faints. Jerry ties a rope to Tom's leg. Tom regains consciousness and runs away. Jerry offers the eagle to pull the rope, and he draws Tom to him. This means that Tom will not go anywhere and he is caught. Jerry gives the “happy couple” flowers and waves them goodbye. At the end on the tree we see a red eagle resting and Tom sitting on a nest on a pile of eggs and a knitting sweater for kids (Tom married an eagle, accepting his offer).
Facts
- The initial splash screen will be borrowed for the Kitty Foiled series.
- The moment Tom crashes into the dryer and things fall on him, making him look like an Indian chief, was cut out for display on Cartoon Network .
- For the show in England, all the replicas of the eagle (“Are you down?”, “She loves me !!”) were cut. The fact is that the eagle in the cartoon speaks with an English accent. They were also cut out on the STS channel.
